The Association of Independent Holiness Churches is an association comprised of an assembly of independent churches who share a common purpose concerning the work of the Lord and His people. It was established in January 2009 in Memphis, Tennessee by Pastor Freddie L. Thomas, Sr. He sought to gather pastors with no legal ties to any denominations, but share the same passion and enthusiasm for ministry. In March of 2009, fifteen pastors met at Christ Communion Temple Church of God in Christ where a charter was ratified and AIHC was founded. AIHC was established with a commitment to helping spiritual leaders and their congregation to have the support and unlimited access to educational and ministerial resources that can be used at their local churches. It has been organized for nine years, and it currently has twelve churches, a school (AIHC School of Biblical Studies), a governing board, and a credentials committee. Its objective is to assist our leaders and their members in their endeavor to pursue ministry.
Jesus commandeth, "Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature." To provide individuals with the support and resources that will help ensure that they fulfill God's great commission.
To give visible form and corporate structure to autonomous churches of similar beliefs and aspirations.
To provide opportunities for fellowship, ministerial training, and continuing education for the pastors and congregation of member churches.
